Non-Trunk Pipelines Market in Russia: Current State and Development Prospects until 2020

The geopolitical situation that has unfolded in the last few months has a major effect on the Russian economy, and above all on one of its key sectors – oil and gas industry. Anti-Russian sanctions took a heavy toll on the production sector. Plans and priorities, which have been set earlier in this sector of economy, are being reconsidered. Intense expansion of offshore production that was supposed to become a key growth area for the production sector is suspended for a while. The reason is obvious: Russia has neither technologies nor equipment required for offshore production.
